The Sub Shoppe under new ownership, renamed to Niagara Sub Shoppe
Niagara Falls, ON, July 5, 2017:  On Canada’s 150th birthday, Sharon Cheung became Niagara’s newest food business owner. As of July 1st, 2017, she has purchased the Sub Shoppe at 8209 Lundy’s Lane and renamed it to Niagara Sub Shoppe. The Shoppe will continue to serve homemade old-fashioned submarine sandwiches using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. It is a quick and affordable food option for youth and families in Niagara Falls. Cheung is looking to expand her menu options to other exciting fast comfort foods. With over 20 years of business research and writing experience, Cheung decided to go into the food business to share her joy and passion for reasonably priced quality fast food to families in Niagara.
“My favourite places to eat start out as “hole-in-the-walls” serving up quick delicious cheap fast food and have good lasting reputations in the local communities. My dream is to continue this tradition in the mom-and-pop food biz serving up home-style food with good old-fashion friendly customer service.”
Cheung has over 20 years of professional competitive market research and business writing under her belt. Her fast food business experience comes from working part-time and summer jobs as a teenager at her friends’ and relatives’ family-owned Chinese takeout restaurants in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Michigan, USA and Markham, Ontario. She grew up in Toronto (born and raised) and has experience and knowledge of a wide variety of foods in Toronto and while travelling in the US and some parts of Europe and East Asia. She is now living in Niagara Falls with her husband, 5-year-old son and 13-year-old cat. Niagara Falls is now their home community in which they have grown to love.
